Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using HireForge, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@hireforge.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

HireForge helps you analyze how well your resume matches job postings, identify skill gaps, and generate tailored resume drafts using artificial intelligence. The Service may fetch publicly available job posting content from third-party career pages when you provide a URL.

Features, availability, and supported job sources may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

You retain ownership of resumes, job descriptions, and other materials you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to use, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including sending relevant portions to AI and infrastructure providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right to submit Your Content and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party rights.

HireForge uses AI to generate scores, recommendations, and resume drafts. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. Fit scores and hiring probability estimates are illustrative only and do not guarantee interview invitations, job offers, or employment outcomes.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing any generated content before using it in job applications. Do not submit AI-generated resume content that contains false or misleading information.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use or that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Circumvent access controls, rate limits, or security measures.
• Use automated means to access the Service except as we explicitly permit.
• Misrepresent AI-generated content as guaranteed factual analysis or professional career advice.

The Service may link to or interact with third-party websites, job boards, and providers. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Some features of the Service may be offered for free during early access. If we introduce paid plans in the future, pricing and billing terms will be presented before you are charged. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect, including disclaimers and limitations of liability.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. HIREFORGE DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL, HR, OR PROFESSIONAL CAREER ADVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIREFORGE AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HireForge and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
